Rebecca Elovic, LPC
Originally from New York, I received my Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. My career began at Walden Behavioral Care, where I gained valuable experience working with both adults and adolescents across multiple acute care levels, specializing in eating disorders. In this role, I provided individual, family, and group psychotherapy and received extensive training in Family Based Treatment for adolescents and DBT skills training.
Driven by a passion to further specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and eating disorders, I transitioned to a community outpatient agency in Connecticut, where I provided psychotherapy for children and young adults. In 2016, I fulfilled a professional goal by opening my private practice in South Windsor, CT, focusing on these specializations.
I am a Linehan-trained Dialectical Behavior Therapist, dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care. I adhere to evidence-based practices within the standard DBT protocol, ensuring my clients receive effective therapy tailored to their needs. My commitment to professional excellence is supported by ongoing consultation with other trained DBT professionals, allowing me to continuously refine my practice.
